Nagra D Digital Reel to Reel Recorder

Extremely rare Nagra D in great condition! A unique opportunity to add this recorder to your collection!

Sole owner, who has used it only occasionally in no smoking environment.
I checked all basic functions:

- Tape:

The machine loads the tape correctly, the Play, Stop, Rec, Fast Forward and Rewind functions work properly

- Audio :

All 4 channels plays and records audio. I cannot tell what kind of tape and audio levels the machine is set for. A new audio calibration may be necessary.

- Lights and switches:

Everything seems to work as expected, Vu meter lights as well.

- Battery

The recorder started to work after leaving the power supply connected for about 15 minutes so that the battery can charge.
Please note that you may need to replace the battery, I don't know how long it can hold a charge or how long does it need to charge. I tested the machine always connected to the external power supply.

I may not have tried other particular functions that I am not aware of, please ask if you need to do any other specific tests.

For these reasons I sold it 'as is', no returns accepted. If you do not agree to these conditions please do not bid.
